Liaise with the client's HR team throughout the payroll life cycle, including onboarding, salary changes, and separations for different pay frequency.
Reviewed changes in the HR module, including job titles, work hours, positions, and organizational level structure.
Coordinate any errors in Master data feed from HR system.
Responsible for periodic master data reconciliation between HR system and ADP GV payroll system to make sure both systems are in sync.
Discuss and advise on legislative changes for the fiscal year to amend policies where applicable.
Liaise with statutory authorities for tax refunds, penalties, name changes, and registration of key components.
Support updates of HR Coordination procedures and documents.
End of Year activities like benefit transfer, relocation, expats/inpats payroll, Tax true-up etc.
Reviewed the pay register received with the upload file / GV inputs as well as the pay register from the last payroll period.
The payroll file should correct any issues reported by employees from prior pay periods. For example, new hires after the cutoff date should be paid a pro-rated amount for both the last month and the current whole month.
Review the error logs to correct the data and ensure that the details in the HR system match those in the payroll system. If any differences are identified, investigate whether they are attributed to system updates, corrections, or required setup.
Review the statutory components as required.
If any cross company, intercompany transfers review if the payroll is showing the required details.
Reconcile all the payroll reports data for accuracy.
Review the total value for payroll and ensure it matches the signed-off total, Gross to net payroll register amounts.
Ensure that ADP has been sufficiently funded for the total payroll value well before the designated timelines to avoid any penalty or emergency funding.
Review that third-party and statutory payments will be processed in accordance with rules.
Identify any exceptions to the payroll process, such as merit/salary increases, rate changes, or system functionalities.
Coordinate and get Required sign off by client.
